Empowered Woman Excel Savings, Credit & Cooperative (EWE SACCO), in collaboration with Step Ladder Academy, and Zim-US Business Connect, proudly introduces a transformative opportunity for African students to pursue undergraduate and graduate degree programs at leading international universities.
Who qualifies?: The funding is available for students wanting to pursue a Masters degree or needs funding to complete 3rd and 4th year. To be considered for approval, prospective students must pay all applicable processing fees, possess valid travel documents, and provide evidence of sufficient academic preparation, including: a completed high school certificate/diploma for undergraduate studies or a college degree for graduate-level programs. Prospective applicants should ideally intend to study one of the following programs: STEM, business analytics, MBA and nursing.
What does the funding cover?: Upon approval of the entire application including enrollment to a university, the recipient will receive a loan that covers tuition and accommodation through to graduation.
How do you repay the funding?: During their studies, students will be required to make interest only payments until graduation. Following completion of their studies, students will be required to repay the loan over a 10-year period at an interest rate between 10–18%, allowing for a flexible and manageable financial transition into their professional careers.

Empowered Woman Excel (EWE) SACCO is a savings and credit cooperative in Zimbabwe that aims to empower women through financial inclusion. It provides various financial services and products to its members, including savings accounts, loans, and insurance.
Step Ladder Academy is institution that offers international career development services, including job placement, IELTS preparation, visa assistance, and CV writing. They also offer a variety of courses and digital skills training. Additionally, they provide support for job opportunities, book clubs, and virtual assistant services.
